Registrations are now open for the first Chat for Impact Health Bootcamp of 2022.
The 90 minute bootcamp is free to INGOs, non-profit organisations and social enterprises working in the health sector in the APAC and EMEA regions who are interested in using the WhatsApp Business Platform to amplify the impact of their health care services.
Taking place on 11 May, the online event is presented by WhatsApp in partnership with Turn.io.
Participants will be taken through getting started on the WhatsApp Business Platform and setting up a WhatsApp line for health care services. They will also learn best practices of content management and gain insight into security and privacy measures as well as an understanding of key product features.
Importantly, the Bootcamp will also be a place for understanding key learnings from existing health-based chat services.
As part of supporting organisations providing health services, participants in the Chat for Impact Health Bootcamp will receive access to a free Turn.io licence for 3 months, onboarding support and training.
Chat for Impact was initiated by Turn.io, a Social Impact WhatsApp Business Solution Provider, to support and accelerate the work that social impact organisations are doing to provide vulnerable, disempowered and minority communities with easy and secure access to vital information and assistance via WhatsApp. The initiative includes monthly events such as the Health Bootcamp, as well as ongoing engagement activities with the 900+ Chat for Impact community and forum members.
