AI Diagnostics is integrating its AI-powered digital stethoscope with WhatsApp to support frontline health workers in screening and managing tuberculosis (TB) and other respiratory conditions.
The WhatsApp service will guide nurses through patient onboarding, education, and treatment adherence support while providing instant troubleshooting and escalation options through voice or chat.
Currently piloting across six clinics in partnership with StopTB, the team is testing patient feedback flows and refining language to ensure messages are clear, engaging, and patient-friendly.

New AI capabilities include photo-based meal feedback, where women can share meal images and receive simple, practical suggestions to improve balance and nutrition.
The next phase focuses on using AI agents to encourage diagnostic testing and improve treatment follow-up.
The WhatsApp service will also deliver gamified training modules, quizzes, and feedback surveys for nurses, helping them master device use and maintain engagement through reminders and localised content.
