What's inside

A complete Telehealth platform
for your team

01/AI-powered call handling

Triage, routing and scheduling handled before the doctor picks up. Patients arrive in the right call, with the right clinician, without any manual coordination.

02/Audio and video calls

Native to WhatsApp. No new app to download. No new account to create. Text, voice note, voice call or video; the patient chooses, the doctor connects.

03/Transcripts

Every call transcribed automatically, letting you generate summaries or refer back to past conversations.

04/Doctor notes

Clinicians take notes during the call. Soon, Turn.io’s AI scribe generates a structured SOAP summary from every transcript. No separate scribe tool needed.

More patients reached. Fewer dropped.

Because it is not a new app. It is WhatsApp, which your patients already have, already check 23 times a day, and already know how to use for a video call.

No new app to learn.

Grandparents take the consult the way they would call their grandchildren. No tutorials. No “can you hear me?” Patients arrive on the call ready.

Runs on the phone your patients already have.

If it connects to the internet, it runs WhatsApp — optimised for weak signals, rural networks, basic devices. Your patients are already reachable.

95% penetration across South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.

The patients you could never reach on Zoom are already on WhatsApp. Your telehealth reach does not stop at the patients who are comfortable with new technology.

Most healthcare providers run telehealth on tools built for boardrooms, not consultations.

Questions

What clinics ask before going live.

Decorative icon
Do patients need to install anything?

No. Turn.io's telehealth runs on the WhatsApp patients already have. There is no app to download, no account to create, no browser permissions to accept. If a patient can receive a WhatsApp message, they can take a video consultation.

How does it work on a poor connection?

WhatsApp is built for the connectivity reality of Africa and Brazil. It adapts automatically to available bandwidth, dropping to audio or voice note when video is not viable. Patients on rural networks, basic handsets and limited data plans are all reachable.

Where do the transcripts and SOAP notes go?

Every transcript and SOAP note is attached to the patient's HealthPass record. The clinician can access it immediately after the call. The patient receives a summary in their WhatsApp thread. Everything is audit-ready by default; no manual filing required.

Can we run telehealth alongside in-person appointments?

Yes. Telehealth is a workflow inside the Care Loop, not a separate product. Booking, triage, intake and follow-up run identically whether the appointment is remote or in-person. Clinicians manage both from the same interface.

How long does it take to go live?

Most networks launch telehealth within days. The AI triage, booking, waiting room and call workflows are pre-built. You configure your clinician roster, availability and appointment types.

Where do the transcripts and SOAP notes go?

Every transcript and SOAP note is securely saved against the call. The clinician can access it immediately after the call. Everything is audit-ready by default; no manual filing required.

Are WhatsApp calls end-to-end encrypted?

WhatsApp Calls are end to end encrypted on Meta’s side, and secured over HTTPS when it arrives on on Turn.io

Is the video recording stored?

No. For security reasons, we don’t record the video. For audit purposes, we store a transcript.
