3.5 billion people
do not have access to affordable, quality primary healthcare
Patients travel far, wait for hours, and often leave without clear next steps, feeling demoralized, confused, and distrustful. Health workers are stretched. Systems cannot keep up.

Access to digital carere mains uneven
Access to
digital care
remains uneven
739 million adults cannot read or write. Language barriers and low digital literacy exclude many people from text-based services.
Bi-directional voice AI changes that. It lets patients engage comfortably, sharing and receiving nuanced information in their own language, without needing to read or type.

This is why the intersection between chat, AI, and voice is critical for improving access to affordable, quality care.
The 2025 Health and AI Accelerator moved from experimentation to real deployment. Ten organisations reached 125,526 people, achieved an average NPS score of 9.5, and, in the case of OneDay Health, secured a randomised controlled trial with the London School of Economics.
Results across the cohort were clear:
AI
The Health and AI Accelerator, led by Turn.io with support from the Endless Network, Eleven Labs and Anthropic
A 24-week programme for ten primary healthcare organisations. You build and launch AI-powered chat and voice services, test what works, and improve fast within your existing workflows.
You will design and launch a live service on WhatsApp, improve care with AI triage and patient history, reach low-literacy and multilingual users with two-way voice, and strengthen your sustainability model.
By the end, you have a live service, clear data, and a model ready to scale.
Accelerator
Benefits
Participants unlock up to USD 750,000 in value through platform access, technical support, expert mentorship, tokens, and funding pathways.

Funding and Scale Pathways
Access follow-on funding opportunities, warm introductions to partners and funders, and support to unlock national and regional scale pathways.
Hands-On Technical Support
Office hours, technical build support, conversation design support, and direct access to Turn.io, ElevenLabs and Anthropic engineers and other relevant staff throughout the programme for advice and support.
Evidence Generation
Track engagement, retention, outcomes, and system impact through structured testing, analytics, and continuous evaluation. You will know what works and why.

This accelerator is for organisations already delivering healthcare at scale across the Global South.

PHASE 01
PHASE 01
Onboarding and Implementation
Lay the foundation for success. Teams onboard to the Turn.io platform, complete service design sprints, begin technical implementation, and prototype their core service. Engineers and mentors support every step. Baseline measurement is established for impact evaluation.
Weeks 1 to 8

PHASE 02
PHASE 02
Testing and
Validation
Go live with your solution and test, evaluate and iterate quickly. Use A/B testing, user feedback, and real-world data to refine the service and business model. Strengthen partnerships in the health ecosystem, learn from the cohort, and get support for integrations as you build.
Weeks 9 to 16

PHASE 03
PHASE 03
Scaling and
Sustainability
Turn insights into action. Finalise your go-to-market and scaling strategy, build investor-ready materials, and present your solution at Demo Day to a network of funders and partners. Document your journey in collaboration with academic and industry partners.
Weeks 17 to 24

Programme mentors
You’ll work side by side with experts, including practitioners, learning specialists, AI engineers, and product strategists who know what it takes to have impact in low-resource settings and with a deep understanding of pedagogy and learning design, AI and conversational design, measurement & evidence generation, product strategy & sustainability, and scaling & systems change.
